We are aware that this year especially there are many families struggling financially, even more after the hurricanes.
We have become aware of a local non-profit that provides bicycles to adults with no transportation to get to work, children who need a bike to get to school, etc.
The nonprofit is Bikes For Christ. They are well established, and they placed over 500 bikes this year in Tampa Bay. There is a vetting process to be able to receive a bike.
Also, do you have an old or new bike you'd be willing to donate? Or a financial donation.
