Your Buckhorn HOA is changing the time of our Annual
Halloween Parade. The parade will be on Saturday,
October 26, and will start at 5:45 p.m. rather than the
former 11:00 a.m. start time.
We are planning on having some Halloween-themed
vehicles in the parade that will be lighted for the
occasion. The parade will begin at the usual Sprawling
Oaks/Starmount location on the south side of the
neighborhood and will wind through Buckhorn and
end at Buckhorn Park about an hour later where it will
disband. There will be no festivities at the park following
the parade because we will hold those festivities at 11:00
a.m. They will include a Halloween egg hunt, costume
contest, games, face painting, and snacks.
WE NEED YOUR HELP! We would like you to decorate
your car/truck, ATV, or golf cart and rig it with lights if
possible and join us in the parade. Please send an email
to BEHA@BUCKHORN.US TO LET US KNOW THAT YOU
WILL BE JOINING US IN THE PARADE OR IF YOU HAVE
QUESTIONS ABOUT YOUR DESIRE TO BE IN THE
PARADE. We will make a list of those who are planning
to be in the parade so we can communicate with the
perspective attendees with details regarding this new
parade event. Safety is paramount and we will have two
law enforcement individuals escorting the parade, as
normal.
