WASTE MANAGEMENT
FOR THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 26
Waste Management has related that they WILL NOT pick
up garbage, recycle or yard waste items on Thursday,
September 26 due to the heavy wind and rain that are
forecasted.
Regular pick up will resume next week on
Monday for garbage and all three items on Thursday.
Depending on the amount of yard waste as a result of the
hurricane, Waste Management MAY pick up some yard
waste beginning on Saturday, however, where and when
they will perform the service is still up in the air depending
on after the storm assessment.
Stay tuned to your normal news source or the County Solid Waste website to stay informed. Based on previous storms, they generally
perform the immediate pick-up functions on major and
feeder roadways first.
